Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT):

The Partners for Change Outcome Management System (PCOMS) includes two evidence-based scales for monitoring the quality and outcome of behavioral healthcare services.  Multiple randomized clinical trials (RCTs) have shown that PCOMS as much as doubles the effectiveness of treatment while simultaneously reducing dropout, deterioration rates, and service delivery costs.

So, how do I do Feedback Informed Treatment?

The PCOMS software is on an iPad. Your therapist will hand you the iPad at the beginning of every appointment to answer a few questions about how your week went in relationship to your goals for treatment. You and your therapist are tracking your progress immediately at the outset of the appointment, and neither of you ever loses track of your goals for therapy. You will use the answers to these questions to inform the strategy for that appointment.

At the end of the appointment, your therapist will return the iPad to you to track the outcomes of that appointment. Providing feedback about the therapy in the moment is one of the most important things you can do to increase the effectiveness of your therapy, and reduce wasted time. Your therapist will use your feedback to immediately course-correct, and provide you even more targeted treatment.

Gottman Method for Relationship Counseling:

This system of couples therapy is grounded in decades of empirical research. 

The goals of Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to:
